OJEN’s Summer Law Institute (SLI) is our flagship professional development event for high school law and civics teachers. Because COVID-19 is still active in Toronto, we are not able to gather at Osgoode Hall for the Summer Law Institute, as we have since 2002. In its place, we are offering a summer webinar series that runs from:
- August 16 – August 20
- August 23 – August 27
This webinar series features leaders from a wide range of law and justice areas, talking about emerging areas of law and key issues facing the justice system in Ontario. Please check back regularly as we update information. All webinars are one hour in length. There is no cost to attend.
Webinar Dates and Times:
- Youth workers and employment law, Monday, August 16
- OJEN’s new resources, TBC
- Top 5 cases of the past year, Thursday, August 26
- Children witnesses in the criminal courts, Wednesday, August 18 – 3:00 pm
