2023 Herman Wong

Herman Wong is the 2023 recipient of the Tate Herbert Post-Secondary Volunteer Award. As a member of the 2022-23 Justice Education Fellowship program, Herman delivered justice education workshops to high school classes in the Toronto. His initiative, excellent program delivery and rapport with students made his workshops popular with teachers. As a result. he was often asked to return to deliver additional workshops. He conducted more than double the number of workshops required by the program.

In addition to his work at OJEN, Herman volunteers at the International Refugee Assistance Project through Osgoode. He is also a copy editor for a bi-weekly newspaper for Osgoode Hall Law School.
