Sarah Pole is the 18th recipient of OJEN’s Chief Justices’ Award. The award recognizes her dedication to access to justice for youth and legal education. For over 20 years, in various leadership capacities, she has demonstrated a deep commitment to social justice and support for youth.

Currently as founder and Director for Childhood Arrivals Support and Advocacy (CASA) Program at Justice for Children and Youth (JFCY), she supports and advocates for young people who were brought to Canada as children and are living in Ontario with precarious immigration status. Ontario’s three Chief Justices presented Sarah with the award at a reception at Osgoode Hall on October 21.
