Judges’ Cup Mock Trial Tournament (York Region)

About

Founded in 2003, the Judges’ Cup has grown to become one of the the largest high school mock trial tournaments in the province. Twenty-four schools entered teams in the 2018 competition. The tournament receives the generous support of the local legal community.

2025 Tournament Information

Venue: Newmarket Courthouse, 50 Eagle Street West

Preliminary Rounds: April 29 and 30

Semi-final and final Rounds: May 6

Special Instructions to Participants

Judges’ Cup provides actual court clerks to keep time, so teams do not need to provide students to keep time (contrary to the OOCMT Official Rules)
