Register for the Kingston Student Law Symposium

Limited space is still available for the Kingston Student Law Symposium on Tuesday, April 30th. Organized by the Kingston OJEN Committee, this full day event is hosted by the Queen’s University Faculty of Law and includes presentations on a variety of current legal issues.
Sessions include:
So you Want to be a Lawyer plus Tour of the Law School
New Cannabis Laws – with Professor Art Cockfield
Mock Parole Hearing Demo
Panel Discussion on Consent – with Sexual Assault Centre of Kingston
This is the first justice education project presented by the Kingston OJEN Committee, which was formed in January of this year. Its goal is to provide enriched justice education experiences for local students and youth.
The symposium runs from 9:15 to 2:00 at Queens University, Faculty of Law, 128 Union Street West.
Teachers of grades 11 and 12 Law are welcome to register their classes. Email with your contact information and the number of students you wish to attend.
