Welcome to the OJEN website!

Partner with us

OJEN works with community groups across the province to run tailored justice education programs for vulnerable or marginalised youth. These youth may be newcomer students in ESL classes, racialized youth living in priority neighbourhoods in Toronto, incarcerated youth, or First Nations students attending a fly-in high school in Thunder Bay.

Interested in learning more about justice education? Check out our thoughts on the importance of building young people’s legal capability. Browse our annual events and programs or our justice education projects to get a feel for what justice education actually looks like.

And when you’re ready to partner with us, drop us a line to get the conversation started.

Training for adults who work with youth

OJEN provides professional development and training in justice education for teachers, youth workers, and other community stakeholders in a variety of ways. We provide tools, ideas, expertise, questions, and conversations that will help you to help young people learn about the justice system. Our workshops for adults who work with youth are offered free-of-charge (funding-dependent) or at-cost. Contact us if you are interested in bringing a workshop to your group or organization.
