L&rsquo;une des six boursi\u00e8res en \u00e9ducation juridique du ROEJ pour l&rsquo;ann\u00e9e universitaire 2019-2020, Miscia a offert des programmes exceptionnels et novateurs dans sa communaut\u00e9. Elle a notamment donn\u00e9 une pr\u00e9sentation interactive aux \u00e9l\u00e8ves du secondaire sur les sextos et la s\u00e9curit\u00e9, qu&rsquo;elle a con\u00e7ue et pr\u00e9sent\u00e9e en collaboration avec une autre boursi\u00e8re.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/ojen.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/06\/IMG_5321.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-18798\" width=\"450\" height=\"299\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ojen.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/06\/IMG_5321.jpg 1000w, https:\/\/ojen.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/06\/IMG_5321-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/ojen.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/06\/IMG_5321-768x512.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 450px) 100vw, 450px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Pendant qu&rsquo;elle effectuait un stage chez \u00c9ducation juridique communautaire Ontario (EJCO) \u2013 avec qui nous partageons des bureaux \u2013 dans le cadre de son baccalaur\u00e9at en travail social et, plus tard, pendant qu\u2019elle \u00e9tait membre de leur personnel, elle a saisi l&rsquo;occasion de faire du b\u00e9n\u00e9volat avec le ROEJ. Elle a coordonn\u00e9 et co-anim\u00e9 des programmes de proc\u00e8s simul\u00e9s pour les jeunes et a collabor\u00e9 avec des b\u00e9n\u00e9voles du secteur de la justice pour fournir de l&rsquo;information sur les pouvoirs de la police \u00e0 des jeunes \u00e0 risque.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En dehors du ROEJ, Miscia a fait preuve d&rsquo;un engagement de longue date envers l&rsquo;\u00e9ducation juridique et d&rsquo;une grande passion pour le travail avec les jeunes des communaut\u00e9s marginalis\u00e9es. Elle a fait du b\u00e9n\u00e9volat pour le Egale Youth OUTreach Centre, un centre offrant du soutien en sant\u00e9 mentale pour les jeunes LGBTQ qui sont en situation d&rsquo;itin\u00e9rance. Elle a \u00e9galement effectu\u00e9 un stage \u00e0 YouthAction Northern Ireland.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dans le cadre de ses \u00e9tudes en droit, Miscia a effectu\u00e9 un stage au sein de la Commission ontarienne des droits de la personne. Elle a \u00e9galement fait du b\u00e9n\u00e9volat \u00e0 la Barbra Schlifer Commemorative Clinic, o\u00f9 elle a d\u00e9fendu les droits des femmes victimes de violence familiale en aidant les clientes \u00e0 s&rsquo;orienter dans le syst\u00e8me judiciaire de droit de la famille.
