2024
The Police Resource Outreach Supporting Education (PROSE) Writing Team is the first group to receive the Chief Justices’ Award. The team, comprised of Coordinator Karen Edgar, educators Jason Hall and Meghan Cameron, and police officers Kelsie Annaert of Brantford Police Services, Abby Whitenect of the Haldimand OPP, and Andrew Gamble of the Norfolk OPP, accepted the award at a reception November 12, 2025, at Osgoode Hall.
The PROSE program is a collaboration between educators and police officers that has resulted in a series of curriculum-base modules for secondary school classrooms that are co-delivered by police officers and educators. This innovative program reimagines how education, policing, and community can intersect to support and empower young people.
