CPD

OJEN is committed to providing the best possible learning experience for youth and their allies. To do that, we offer training and continuing professional development opportunities for lawyers, paralegals, judges, and justices of the peace.

CPD and webinar events will be announced in this space. As we develop new resources and learning modules, we will announce them on Facebook, Twitter, and our News page.

Guidelines for Better Legal Workshops: Best Practices for Effective PLE Presentations

[October 28, 2 p.m.] Public legal education (PLE) is an important part of access to justice. In this session, experienced PLE professionals from the Ontario Justice Education Network will walk through their Guidelines for Better Legal Workshops, adding practical advice, teaching strategies, useful resources and handouts, and other insights. Join us to strengthen your legal presentations and workshops with best practices in PLE. This session is designed for legal professionals (including lawyers, paralegals, and others) and legal professionals-in-training (eg. law students). It is co-presented by the Ontario Justice Education Network (OJEN) and the Public Legal Education Association of Canada (PLEAC) and is available to a national audience.

Lucky you!

You just found OJEN’s new website. We have quietly launched it in beta while we still test out new features and work on some bugs. If you catch anything that is broken, please let us know at info@ojen.ca.
