OJEN’s Peterborough Committee includes volunteers from the justice and education sectors who work together to organize justice education programs for students and youth. The committee aims to serve teachers and students in Peterborough, Northumberland, Kawartha Lakes and Haliburton. It is chaired by Justice Stuart W. Konyer of the Superior Court of Justice.
The committee commits on delivering programs that are responsive to local needs by collaborating with teachers and community partners. They strive to facilitate connections between youth and the legal community that promote greater understanding of the justice sector and the community it serves.
