 Angelo Bolotta served on OJEN’s Board of Directors for 10 years and on OJEN Network since its inception as a representative of the Institute for Catholic Education.  He provided an active role in governance, new strategic directions and day-to-day guidance to the staff team.  In his capacity as principal of a high school in the Toronto Catholic District School Board, Angelo found innovative ways for teachers and students at this school to get involved in justice education and in addition, connected OJEN with teachers throughout the Catholic school system across the province.   Angelo also provided expertise in the development of new resources.  In particular, he assisted in producing a guide for Catholic teachers on integrating mock hearings into their classrooms; a resource preparing them to broach issues of fairness and rights protection and to mediate controversial discussions about religious values within a secular justice system.
