JEN/ROEJ has partnered with five other not-for-profit organizations to launch the 2nd annual Flip Your Wig for Justice Campaign. Together with the Association in the Defence of the Wrongfully Convicted (AIDWYC), Canadian Civil Liberties Association, (CCLA), Community Legal Education Ontario (CLEO), METRAC Action on Violence, and Pro Bono Students Canada, (PBSC), we are raising awareness about the access to justice crisis in Ontario and raising funds to support our programs. The campaign is attracting widespread support within the legal profession. Over 100 prominent members of the profession, (including Justice Célynne Dorval from the Ottawa OJEN Committee) have signed on as campaign Ambassadors and 11 law firms have become Premiere Partners. And the Hamilton OJEN Committee with Justice Jane Milanetti got us off to a great start last year by entering a team in the Flip Your Wig Campaign.
