Know Where You Stand: Emergency Orders, Police Engagement and COVID-19 (Webinar)

In response to recent public health concerns, Justice for Children and Youth and the Ontario Justice Education Network are offering a free online session for frontline youth workers that provides information about the legal implications of emergency orders, legal rights and obligations during this time.

Topics to be covered include:


  • City By-Laws and Provincial Regulations
  • Enforcement and Penalties
  • Disputing a ticket
  • Questions and sharing experiences
  • Additional Resources

Time:  10:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

DEADLINE for registration is Wednesday May 13th at 6:00 p.m.

Workshop materials will be distributed to registered participants.  Registration is limited and offered on a first come first served basis.
