Among the resources featured on our Resources for Remote Teaching and Learning web pages, are Steps to Justice modules on six areas of law. These modules are based on Community Legal Education Ontario (CLEO)’s excellent Steps to Justice website that provides practical information on how to navigate many common legal problems faced by Ontario residents.
Students explore legal topics by navigating the practical step-by-step information on the website. They learn how to use the website to find legal information, including the forms, self-help guides and referral information for legal and social services which may be helpful in working through future legal problems.

Each module comes with a PowerPoint classroom presentation, student worksheets, scenarios and a facilitator’s guide and answer sheet. The facilitator’s guide provides detailed instructions on how to deliver the workshop. Additional information with tips for presenters, can be found on a short training video available on the OJEN website.
