The Tate Herbert Memorial Fund/Tate’s Tableaux supports OJEN’s justice education programs for youth.
The Herbert family launched Tate’s Tableaux 5 years ago as a tribute to their son. As a student in the Law and Society program and Wilfrid Laurier University, Tate lost his life to cancer at the age of 21. Each year they hold an evening of music and improv in Barrie, Ontario. They charge a small admission fee and donate the proceeds to OJEN. Donations to OJEN in support of the event are also accepted.
The Tate Herbert Memorial Fund honours the life of a young man who hoped to make the world a more equitable place. Further, it celebrates the promise of all youth starting their own journeys with a passion to make a difference.
Your donation to the Tate Herbert Memorial Fund supports OJEN’s training and work opportunities for students. In addition, it supports the programs that inform thousands of youth about the justice system.
